Lappeenranta Airport is a provincial, independent airport since the beginning of 2016. The field is owned by the City of Lappeenranta and the South Karelia Association. The field is located in the center of Lappeenranta, about 2 kilometers from the market. The distance to the railway station is about 2 km.
The field cafe (Vanha Pilotti) is closed for the time being, the Lappeenranta Aviation Association’s cafe, which is located on the general aviation station floor (via Charlie), serves if club members are there. Gasoline can be arranged with advance inquiry.

Access to the airport is from the access gate next to the tower. When the pilot leaves the field, it is a good idea for him to write down the four-digit access code. With this code, you can get back to the field area using the number lock next to the gate.
