1. General information:
A good airfield in the immediate neighborhood of the Kalajoki sand dunes. A swimbath, four hotels, a golf course, the largest camping site in Finland etc. are within a five minute walk.
The new very visible landmark has risen on the airfield. A ex passenger aircraft hangar brought from Helsinki-Vantaa. It dominates the landscape and can be seen approaching the airfield long before Kalajoki hotels

4. Sight seeing and services
There is plenty to see in the neighborhood of the field, both from the air and from the ground. Sandy beaches by the sea, river mouths, wide-spread fields, Kalajoki town, Golf course etc. There are some 10 restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
