2. General information:
The airfield is located 1,5 km and 4,0 km east of the city centres of Kauttua and Eura. The flying club Kauttuan Ilmailukerho as well as local ultra light and hang glider pilots mainly use the airfield.
There are three hangars and accommodation for 1-2 persons.
Due to close vicinity of the urban areas, the runway 29 has RIGH HAND traffic circuit.

The runway is in a usable condition. The surface is slightly bumpy due to ground frost damages. There is a long shallow depression area near the threshold of runway 11.

6. Sight seeing and services
The main attractions are the Luistari viking age cemetery and Härkänummi viking village by the road 43 direction Uusikaupunki.

Activities
In wintertime there are various skiing activities available at Säkylänharju. Ice hole swimming among other activities can be experienced at Katismaa.
