The Ilvesjoki light airfield is located in Kurikka (formerly Jalasj\u00e4rvi). The field is designed for light aircraft activities and is located in the backyard of Pramia, a beverage manufacturer. Today, the factory has its own shop and cafe, where you can buy mild alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as coffee, buns and something salty. The entrance to the store is on the right as you exit the gate. In summer the store is open every day, in winter from Wednesday to Saturday. Check the store’s opening hours online.
\nAlthough the airport has an ICAO code, it is not listed in the official list of airports. The field is paved with asphalt<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The middle part of the runway has some bumps, but otherwise the field is in good condition and maintained. Take into account that the asphalt of the field is about 500 meters, but at the end of 06 there is about 200 meters of milled forest floor.
\nSo there are obstacles at both ends of the runway, a forest at one end and buildings at the other. There is a wind turbine about a kilometer northeast of the airport, so runway 06 only uses a right hand circuit.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
